Matrix High School Fall Open Workouts
With only about a month remaining before high school basketball tryouts and practices begin, Matrix Basketball is proud to announce two FREE training sessions for high school players on:
Sunday, October 24
Sunday, November 7
Both days' sessions will be held at Kenmore Middle School in Arlington from 3:00-5:00.
At these workouts, players will be able to work with: Marcus McKinney, our new Matrix High School Program coordinator and head coach; Katie Smrcka-Duffy Fudd, our Matrix Aces head coach and professional skills trainer; and a number of other Matrix coaches with high school coaching experience.
These workouts are open to all interested players, and are designed to get players in shape and ready to go for the start of the high school basketball season. These sessions also provide an opportunity for players to get to know the outstanding coaches we have in place to lead our high school teams during the upcoming spring/summer 2011 season.
Although these training sessions are free, we are asking players to sign up online in advance to assist us in planning, so we have a rough estimate of attendance. Tax deductible donations to help cover the cost of the gyms are appreciated and can be made during registration. Players can also sign up at the door for no cost.
